Beth Cartwright,63, surrounded by her loved ones, returned to her Heavenly Father on May 11, 2018. Beth was born October 15, 1954 in Logan, Utah, the youngest child of Leonard G. and Barbara Cartwright.
Her growing up years were spent in Richmond, Utah, along with siblings, Gordon, Susan, and Dennis. She attended Park School Elementary, North Cache, and Sky View High School. She married Ken Stewart in the Ogden LDS Temple, in 1976. They were blessed with four children, Brian, Travis, Codi, and Robyn. Their early years were spent in Richmond, Utah. Some of her fondest memories were spending time with her sister, Sue, and their children. Ken and Beth later divorced. Beth married Brad Smith and moved to Franklin, Idaho in 1985. She enjoyed working at Latienda and made many lifetime friends while there. They enjoyed camping, 4-wheeling, and spending time in the outdoors. Although their marriage
ended, they remained good friends. In 2002 Beth moved to Smithfield, Utah. It was there she met a very special friend,Teirre Humpherys. They had a loving relationship and shared special times. In later years, as Beth’s health declined, he was always there to care for and pamper her.
Beth loved her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping, working in her Yard, going to movies, and making Christmas memories at her daughter’s home. She enjoyed working at the Western Surgery Center in Logan, Utah. Beth was a beautiful lady, and always looked her best. She made everyone feel special and loved. Amid many trials in her life, Beth remained steadfast and endured through her struggles. She was a member of the LDS church and had a great love for her Savior.
Beth is survived by Brian ( Andrea) Stewart, of Eagle Mountain, Utah, Travis (Nikki) Stewart, of Franklin, Idaho. Robyn (Ryan) Etter, of Vernal, Utah. Susan and Dennis, We were so sorry to hear of Beth's passing. We didn't have any idea that she was in poor health as it has been many years since we have seen her. We hope you can take comfort that she is once again with your mom and dad and Gordon.
- David & Luann Bagley Maughn

I remember from my earlier yeas in Richmond what a good person and how absolutely beautiful Beth was. The Cartwright family was great at welcoming our family as we moved into this little town. I also got to know a little about Gordon as we had a few good talks before his passing. I really thought a lot of this family and will cherish the memories made. May our Heavenly Father bless this family at this time and always. With Love Kevin Forbush and Family
