The team at Cache Valley Mortuary have many years of experience caring for families, from all walks of life. Each family comes to us because they know we are leaders in our profession, dedicated to excellence in service, and have the highest integrity standards.
After 25 years of working for other funeral homes in Idaho and Oregon, it was the dream of Kim Godfrey to return to his roots in Cache Valley and open his own funeral home. We opened up our first location in September of 2013 in an established building with the focus on providing the most affordable, dignified funeral services possible to the families of Cache Valley.
In January of 2017 we moved into our new building in Hyde Park, just north of our original temporary facility. When we designed our new building we still wanted to maintain our mission to provide the lowest cost services in the valley. We did this by maintaining our minimalist approach to our building. Even though we have increased our space for viewings and services as well as adding an onsite crematorium, keeping it simple keeps our overhead low which allows us to pass on those savings to the families we serve. Having a crematory at our location allows us to provide the lowest priced cremations in the valley.
Stop by and meet our team and take a look at our facility. It may not be fancy but it serves the families of cache valley.
