Alice Naelda Snowball Black passed away Tuesday April 22, 2014 at home. Alice was born December 7, 1938 in Riverside, California to Peart M Snowball and Alice Nalda Burke Snowball. She graduated from Riverside Polytechnic High School in 1956. She attended BYU and during summer break met the love of her life, 1st Lieutenant David A. Black, and they were married and sealed in the L.A. Temple June 7, 1958. Alice graduated, with honors, from Salt Lake Community College earning an Associate of Science and Registered Nursing degree in 1994.Alice loved and had a strong testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She was devoted and conscientious in her church callings and blessed those she serviced. She loved the Temple and enjoyed the comfort, peace and serenity from attending the House of The Lord. Alice and her husband served a full time Mission from 2003-04 in The Santiago Chile Temple. They also served as officiators in the Jordan River and Logan Temples. Their last calling was Service Missionaries at the Logan LDS Dry Pack Cannery. Alice loved reading, gardening, travel and keeping physically fit. She was dedicated to her husband and family. She was a wonderful homemaker, cook and mother.Alice is survived by her mother Alice Nalda Hardman; husband David A. Black; her four children David Craig Black, Warren S. Black, Phillip W. Black and Dalynn Alice Gadd, 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grand children.Viewing will be Sunday 6-8 pm and Monday 10:30-11:30 with Funeral Services at 12:00 pm. in the Nibley 8th Ward at 130 W. 2600 So., Nibley, UT.
