Allen Paul Reeder has returned to his loving Father in Heaven on Saturday, June 8.
Allen was born in St. Louis, Missouri on June 30, 1997. He was born to his loving mother, Jennifer Gunnell Reeder and caring father, Lee Reeder. The second child of 4 boys, Nelson (wife Brittney), Logan, and Gavin.
He graduated from Logan high school in 2015 and furthered his education in welding at Bridgerland Technology college. He had many jobs, but his favorite was being a part of the custodial team at Wilson Elementary and Riverside Preschool.
He was an extremely hard worker. He enjoyed working at the farm and staying busy outside. He was also known for his love of fishing. His mother admired his will to fix anything. There was never any one that he wasn’t willing to help.
Allen is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Many looked up to him and his character including his brothers and friends. Those who knew Allen, remember his sweet and contagious smile and laughter. He had a very gentle soul. He will be missed, but never forgotten.
He is survived by his mother, Jennifer Gunnell Reeder, and siblings, Nelson and Brittney Reeder, Logan, and Gavin. He is survived by his father, Lee and Becky Reeder, and his half siblings, Lincoln and Evlyn. Also by his grandparents Merlynn Gunnell, Paul Gunnell, and Martin Reeder, great-grandpa, Mearl Bair and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded by his great grandma Lapriel Bair, great grandma and grandpa Edith and Leland Gunnell, grandma Jean Reeder, and uncle Justin Gunnell who have received him back with loving arms.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Cache Valley Mortuary. Funeral and viewing will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints stake center, 565 East 100 South, Logan, UT 84321. There will be a viewing Sunday, June 16th from 6-8 pm. Monday, June 17th there will be a viewing from 9:30-10:30 am with the funeral followed at 11 am. Burial at Wellsville Cemetery.
As a family, we would like to say thank you. We are overwhelmed by the generosity and love of all those around us. To everyone who has donated time, food, and money, there is not enough gratitude. Memories or condolences may be shared with the family on this website.
