Andee passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025 at Rocky Mountain Care.
He was raised in Nibley, Utah in a single family home. Andee attended Providence Elementary School, Spring Creek Middle School, and graduated from Cache High School. He later attended Bridgerland Technical College & studied auto mechanics to further his knowledge of tinkering in grease.
Andee was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This opened the door for many mentors, along with his grandpa Dahle.
After graduating high school, Andee couldn't wait to enlist in the Army. He was always wearing camouflage. He so wanted to learn of aerospace dynamics. To Andee's surprise & greatest heartbreak, he was medically denied.
Growing up, Andee spent most of his time with family. At grandma and grandpa Dahle's house he was educated in the principles of hard work and an honest days pay. Andee learned many things along grandpa's side such as: gardening, mechanics, plumbing, electrical, you name it. Also there were several fishing trips, camping trips, & swimming at Crystal Hot Springs.
To grandpa's dismay, as soon as Andee had something in his hands, it was quickly disassembled. Only to reassemble it a half hour later, maybe even better than it was before, leaving grandpa amazed.
Promontory Point was a yearly must with Grandpa. Andee and his cousins, Zan & Ian, had many great adventures with grandpa. They loved seeing and talking about the trains. The ride there and back was even better, listening to classic music and singing along.
Uncle Keith was a great mentor, but most of all, a superior hunter. Andee couldn't wait to go shoot guns & hunt with him.
Andee spent many days and holidays with his mom and sister at Aunt Cindy's house with cousins Zan, Amber, & Kurtis. Camping was a must. Staying up all night keeping the fire going until early morning light with Zan. Even taking the family trip to Arizona to be with grandma and grandpa Dahle. This was a great trip for Andee. He always wanted to do it again. Planes and anything Army was right up his alley.
Andee's hands were always dirty. Playing in the grease, chopping wood, and baiting fish hooks. Never washing his hands to eat his sandwich. He was building up his immunity.
Upon visits, Andee would have two drinks in hand. One for himself and one for you. Always looking for something that he could tinker with or make better than what it was or he would beg you for a chess match to clean your clock.
Andee made friends easily and quickly. He could strike up a conversation with anyone, about most anything from A to Z, soup to nuts.
Growing up Andee learned karate, fine computer skills, and took up scuba diving with Butch Perry (thank you Butch for your influence on Andee) at Blue Lake, Belmont Springs, & Crater Lake.
Andee camped anywhere and everywhere. Some of those places are Newton Dam, Millville Canyon, Hyrum Dam, Blacksmith Fork. If there was camping, there was fishing. Andee lived a simple life and nature was just that.
Andee was a brother, father, uncle, and handyman. He was always looking out for and helping out others.
In Andee's life he worked for Silicone Plastics, construction & demolition crews, Springhill Inn & Suites, Deseret Industries, & Burger King.
Andee, the ride has not always been easy, but it's been great. We love you! You are sorely missed. Till we meet again.
Thanks to caregrivers at Logan Regional Hospital and Rocky Mountain Care.
