Anne Christoffersen, Ruckman 6/12/1944 – 4/21/2022
Anne was born in Cache Valley, Utah to William and Edna Christoffersen. She grew up in Hyde Park, Ut. helping on the family dairy. She loved taking care of the animals and riding the horses. After she graduated, she met and married Clarence Kaae and they had two sons, Steve and Clinton. They later divorced.
Several years later she met and married George Ruckman. They lived in many states across the country, Anne pursued a nursing degree as a Rn and worked in several hospitals and care facilities across the country. They moved to McGill, Nevada and made it home, Anne worked in the Ely hospital until she retired. She loved raising Yorkies and helped many people love them as well. She loved spending time with family and friends and her pets. She enjoyed traveling and exploring the mountains and ghost towns in the mountains around Nevada. Later with her medical condition she was limited where she could go, and she missed the canyons.
Anne was a member of the LDS church in McGill, Nevada and enjoyed participating in various positions and activities.
Anne was preceded in death by her parents William and Edna Christoffersen and husband George O. Ruckman.
She is survived by her sons Steve (Maria) Kaae, Clinton (Leann) Kaae, 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
There will be a celebration of life for Anne on Friday May 6th, 2022, from 1 PM to 3 PM at the LDS Ward, #10 4th St. McGill, NV 89318
An additional celebration of life will be held on her birthday June 12, 2022, from 2 PM to 4 PM at Maple Springs, 350 E. 2200 N. North Logan, Ut. 84341
In honor of Anne guests are invited to wear patriotic colors.
The family would like to thank the staff of McKay-Dee hospital and Maple Springs of North Logan for the compassionate care provided to Anne.
