Benny L Yancey

Benny Lloyd Yancey, 75, passed away Friday October 21, 2016 surrounded by family and friends. Benny was a friend to everyone and was happiest when he was helping someone. He loved the years that he spent at Hillfield AFB working "his" plane, fishing, and his Mustang. He is survived by his loving wife Waneta Yancey. He was the proud father of four children; Bret & Malinda Tolson, Scott and Laura Zimmerman, Steven & Tanya Yancey, Mike & Ashley Yancey and step-father to Ellis & Kristine Wood, Collin & Carla Wood, Gary & Shelley Wood. He was the best grandpa to all his grandchildren related or not. At his request, no funeral will be held, but the family would love to have friends join them at a celebration of his life Saturday October 29, 2016 from 11:00 Am until 2:00 Pm at the Bowery located at 600 East 800 South in River heights. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all those at Access Hospice namely Dianne, Susan and Hayden.
