Bradford Alan "Yogi" Beare

May 18, 1950 — March 8, 2018

Bradford Alan “Yogi” Beare, 67, died Thursday, March 8, 2018 in Logan, UT. Son of Harry Eugene Beare and Marna Margie O’Neill, he was born May 18, 1950 in San Francisco, CA. He was a life long resident of California until he moved to Utah in 2008.
Yogi graduated from Montgomery High School in 1969, and then completed an AA degree at Santa Rosa Junior College. One of his proudest achievements was being inducted into the SRJC Bear Cubs Hall of Fame in 2014 for 38 years of service as sports equipment manager. His enthusiasm and dedication set him apart; he could always be counted on to go the extra mile in getting things done. https://vimeo.com/91333592 (background interview Hall of Fame).
A member of the Santa Rosa Bible Church for 40 years, he had a strong faith in Jesus Christ as his Savior. We are thankful to the leaders and members of the Santa Rosa Bible Church who befriended Brad and loved him. They were his second family. Bradford was preceded in death by his parents and his older brother Barry Wesley Beare. He is survived by his sisters and brother Marlyn Dart, Lorie Marchant, and John Beare. Brad is also survived by a whole lot of nieces and nephews and was proud to be thought of as “the best uncle in the world”.
We offer our deepest gratitude to the staff of Cache Valley Assisted Living, Rocky Mountain Care, and Access Hospice for their loving and patient care for Yogi. You are angels in disguise and will always be remembered.
A private family celebration took place March 10, and he was buried in Hyrum Cemetery, Hyrum, Utah. Arrangements are under the direction of Cache Valley Mortuary, 80 W. 4200 N. Hyde Park, (435)787-8514. You can share a memory of Bradford, “Yogi” at www.cvmortuary.com
