Brenda Lamb Dana 1960-2024
Brenda Lamb Dana passed away suddenly, but peacefully, at her home in the early hours of Sunday, July 7, 2024.
Brenda was born in Logan, Utah on October 7, 1960, to Barbara “Jody” and Max S. Lamb. She grew up the youngest of four children. She graduated from Sky View High School and Seminary. She married Bruce E. Dana on September 29, 1983, in the Logan temple. Together they had one son and blended her son and his six daughters.
Brenda worked as a dental assistant for a short time and spent many wonderful years helping children in North Park Elementary and Thomas Edison Charter School as a teacher’s aide. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many callings but she particularly loved being a nursery leader.
Brenda spent much of her time with her family doing things she loved. Her best friends were her mom and her sister. Not a day would go by without being in contact with them. She enjoyed spending time with Bruce going out to eat, shopping, and keeping him on task. She loved her grandchildren, spending time with them, and living so close to Tiffany. She had many friends and loved to share the latest news with them which endeared her to many. She also loved supporting Aggie football and basketball with her dad and brothers.
She is survived by her husband Bruce, and children April Dana (Taylor), Nathan Dana (Carlos), and Stepdaughters. Grandchildren Mylee, Suel, Addyson, Jaycee, Graycee, and Mason. Sister Gloria (Tim) Gordon, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Max and Jody Lamb, brothers Michael Lamb, Stephen Lamb, and grandson Connor Dana.
There will not be a traditional funeral service in the chapel, however, there will be a public viewing at the Center Street Chapel at 65 E Center St, Hyde Park, UT 84318 on Friday 12 July 2024 from 6-8 PM. There will also be a public viewing at the Center Street Chapel from 9:30-10:30 AM on Saturday 13 July 2024.
At 10:30 AM, there will be a prayer for family only and the closing of the casket.
There will be a public graveside service at the Hyde Park, Utah Cemetery at 11:30 AM
