Brent Allen Mcgary

Brent Allen McGary "Bubba" was born August 15, 1964 at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Lena Olsen. Brent passed at the age of 59 on November 30, 2023 at Ogden Regional Medical Center due to complications of ongoing health issues. He is survived by his two Children, Kiowa Dawn McGary (27) and Lake Brent McGary (25), his Mother Lena Olsen, Brother Douglas McGary (Dawn), Brother Hank McGary (Nichole) and Sister Sara Kulow (Ronald). Brent is preceded in death by his loving Grandparents, Earl and Beaulah Olsen as well as his beloved dog Roxy.
Life Long family and friends will remember Brent as a heavy weight wrestler in Highschool, a jovial story teller with a big belly laugh, a family man who loved to cook and an AC/DC fan who loved to belt out a tune when he knew he was in good company.
Brent had some interesting work throughout the years, including working surveillance cases with a private investigator, working for JB’s Big Boy and Red Steer restaurants.
Brent had a few adventures under his belt… he recalled coming across a baby moose on a hike and then being chased by its momma for a good ten minutes, and almost freezing to death when his diesel truck froze up on him and left him stranded on the freeway and surely many more.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Bethel Lutheran Church 413 N Main Street, Firth Idaho 83236. Service will be on Saturday December the 16th 2023 at 1 pm.
