Brian Sterling Hansen

Brian Sterling Hansen, Age 64, of Hansen, Idaho passed away on August 11, 2017.Brian was born in Boise, Idaho October 20, 1952 to Kathern Peterson Hansen and Ephriam Albert Hansen. He grew up in Boise where he spent all his school years. He graduated from Boise High School in May 1971 and served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints from 1971 to 1973 in Scotland. He was active in his church all his life. He had 3 things that where his favorite things to do. He has always been funny and loved to make people laugh. Second he loved to sing. He had a rich, clear, tenor voice and was very good at it. The last was playing Santa Claus. He enjoyed this roll clear up until his body would not allow him to get out anymore.Brian Hansen met Ardeana Rich November 1973 at institute and their first date was March of 1974, he proposed to her on their 2nd date and were sealed June 7, 1974. They were sealed in the Logan Utah Temple for time and eternity. They had 8 children: Amy, Jake, Nolan, Ben, Chris, Steve, Joe, and Jenni. They have been married for 43 years.He is survived by his wife Ardeana, his children, Jake (Jenny), Nolan (Erin), Ben (Holly), Chris (Amanda), Steve (Laura), Joe, and Jenni, His Brothers, Dale (Teddy), Jeff (Anna) and Harold (Karma), His sisters Linda Checketts and Cheri Stewart (Jim).He is preceded in deaths by his first born Amy Hansen who passed away November 1975, and his Mother, Father, and Sister.Viewing at the Kimberly Idaho Stake Center on August 17th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and August 18th from 10:00am to 10:45pmFuneral to be held at Kimberly Idaho Stake Center on August 18th at 11:00 A.M.
