Bruce Edward Howe

May 2, 1963 — December 6, 2024

North Logan

Bruce Edward Howe of North Logan passed away on December 6, 2024, after a long battle with a degenerative brain disease. Bruce was born in Garden Grove, California on May 2, 1963, to Alice LuDean Seeholzer of Logan, and Eugene Boynton Howe of Long Beach CA. He is survived by his loving wife Christine (Pummell) Howe, sons Gavin and Darin, daughter Courtney, and his siblings, Susan Dees, Steven Howe, Karen Lockhart and Brian Howe.

Bruce will be forever remembered for his desire to make memories for others. Even in the late stages of his disease he was still making people smile and laugh by waving at anyone walking or driving by the house.

As a young man he was employed as an event DJ which is how he met his wife, while providing the music for a church dance. He took incredible pride in making any event unforgettable with his love of music. He was always actively involved and the first person to volunteer to help with his kid’s activities including marching band, figure skating, baseball, etc. As a scout leader, he crafted elaborate award displays for advancement ceremonies, a skill that he learned from his father as a sure way of making every advancement a special occasion. He built multiple carnival games for events for kids and their families to enjoy. But what he will be remembered for the most was his mastery of exterior illumination of his house and yard at Christmas time. People would come from miles around every Christmas to see Bruce’s home light display. He just loved to create a memory for all to enjoy, and to this day, despite the incredible efforts that go into home light displays, nobody has ever done it better.
