As a young man he drove a taxi cab made trips to the Modern Drug when one of the clerks working there caught his eye several trips into the store he learned her name was Margie Hovey then asked her for a date. He enjoyed his years scouting, horseman, coaching the American Legion base ball team, they made it to state that year. All of his callings within the LDS church, the bishopric and especially his temple work. He retired from the Sheriff’s office as a Captain the first Captain in the history of that department. He enjoyed the association of his fellow deputies and office personnel. He is survived by his wife Margie of sixty five years. Three children four grandchildren and five great grand children.
