Connie Jean Shepherd Hawkes 22 March 1948 – 28 October 2018 Our precious, beautiful mother and wife passed away Sunday morning at the age of 70 surrounded by her family that she loved unconditionally. She often told us, “Have I told you lately that I love you?” She loved everyone. They were all touched by her and loved her. The world has lost a precious diamond that will be greatly missed.
Daughter of Ted and Edith Shepherd Brothers: Edgar Shepherd – Paradise Utah, Jesse Shepherd – Columbia Utah, John Shepherd – Sparwood British Columbia Sisters: Tera Gardner – Deweyville Utah, Georgia Henry – Portage Utah Married April 25, 1968 to William (Bill) Hawkes in Los Angeles California Blessed with 12 beautiful children: Kathy Hanson – Santaquin, Utah; Jenifer Dreis – Houston, Texas; Andrea Hawkes – Nibley, Utah; Caren Simpson – Grande Cache, Alberta Canada; Billie Decker – Wellsville, Utah; David Hawkes – San Diego, California; Paul Hawkes – Nibley, Utah; Steven Hawkes, Jordan Hawkes – Spanish Fork, Utah; Amber Andersen – Hyrum, Utah; Michael Hawkes, Kimber Sheerer – Hyde Park, Utah; 36 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren
Viewing will be at 65 E. Center St., Hyde Park, from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 2, Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3.
