Today we lost a great man Cyril Hardman (80) to cancer. Cyril Hardman was born in Logan Utah and raised in Arbon Valley Idaho and North Logan Utah, the youngest son of Pierce Hardman and Ellen Baugh Hardman. Cyril went to South Cache High School. He joined the Army's 82nd Airborne Division in 1956 during the Korean War into the early Vietnam Era as a Paratrooper. He took over his father's Dry Farm in Arbon Valley Idaho until 1970, at which time he moved to Pleasant View Idaho and went to work for Oneida County. In 1976 Cyril moved to Smithfield Utah and went to work for LaGrande Johnson. In 1978 Cyril took a job with Smithfield City which he had until he retired. Cyril enjoyed his 4 wheeler, hiking, hunting, fishing and prospecting for gold. He had a passion for the outdoors and the desert. He will be missed by both family and friends that love him dearly. Cyril was preceded in death by his daughter Sherilyn Hardman Davis also to cancer, and 1 granddaughter Tori Chatterton. He is survived by his wife Gaydra Douglas Hardman, 3 of his children and their spouses, Craig Hardman and Lupe Hardman, Shelly Hardman Chatterton, Karene Hardman Ruminer and LeRoy Ruminer. Also by 13 grandchildren and 20.5 great grandchildren. He has one surviving sister Faye Hardman Stevenson of Washington Terrace.Husband, Dad, Grandpa and Friend we miss you already.
