D. Chris Bennett

D Chris Bennett passed away January 15th after his short battle of cancer, with his sons by his side. He was born in Logan on August 6, 1957 to Donald Ray Bennett and Patricia Loretta Christensen Bennett. He married the love of his life, Martha Wolfe on August 7, 1998 in Logan, Utah. Chris had a deep love for his family and always enjoyed visitors. He had a lot of stories to tell and we all enjoyed them. He loved his job and enjoyed hard work, of which he did all the time. He was a butcher for many people, loved traveling and riding his Harley, fishing, hunting, camping, barbecuing and spending time with his family.Chris is survived by Stan (Michelle) Bennett, Clarkston; Justin (Jaci) Bennett, Smithfield; Jamie (Mark) Riley, Logan; and April (Thane) Summers; Hyrum, and 12 grandchildren. Chris was the youngest of three siblings: sisters – Kathy (Tom) Hendricks; and Janet (John) Morris. He was also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews that will miss him very much.A special thanks to his nephew Heeth (Carly) Bennett for all their loving and dedicated care, to Dr. Matthew J. Welter and staff for their attentive medical service. And finally Access Home Care and Hospice for all their loving home visits.A viewing will be held on Thursday January 19, 2017 from 6 – 8 p.m at the LDS church house in Clarkston located at 25 E 100 S, Clarkston, Utah. Funeral services will be held on Friday January 20, 2017 at 12:00 in Clarkston at the LDS Church house located at 25 E 100 S, Clarkston, Utah.
