David Lavon Seamons set off on his biggest hunting/fishing adventure on March 15, 2017. He departed from his home in Hyde Park, which he shared with his best friend, wife & most faithful hunting partner of 30 years, Stacy Seamons. She was the light of his life & they did everything together. Only God could make a pairing so perfect.Born Dec 23, 1958, this amazing man lived his whole life in Hyde Park. Dave was lucky to have had 2 jobs in his life that he loved. He spent over 20 years at Beaver Mountain with his best friend & mentor, Ted Seeholzer. He loved the mountains, outdoors, the Seeholzer family & the many friends he made over the years. At the time of his passing, he had been part of the BATC family for over 20 years. He loved his job as retail meat manager. He was fortunate enough to work with his life-long friend, Sam Hilton & long-time friend Jason Rindlisbacher. He loved his colleagues & students. Dave’s loving, caring & non-judgmental personality had such a positive effect on so many. He enjoyed life & took every chance to live it to the fullest, making friends & leaving a lasting impression every step of the way. Through all the chapters of his life he wore many hats…cowboy, houndsman, outdoorsman, pigeon keeper, sheep farmer, teacher & mentor. The hats that he wore proudly everyday was that of dependable friend, caring ally, good & honest example, husband, dad, grandpa (papa), son, brother & uncle.Dave is survived by his wife- Stacy Steed Seamons, daughters- Shayla Seamons Bluhm (Jamie) & Shantell Seamons Clark (Steven), grandsons- Parker David Clark, Kaden Steven Clark, & Jaxon LaVon Clark, sister- Teresa Seamons Harrison, three sister & brother-laws, 7 nieces & nephews as well as countless other friends & family members.He is preceded in death by his mom & dad, Lavon & Donna Seamons, & many other beloved friends & family. Happy Hunting ‘til we meet again…. Dave will be honored & remembered at the LDS church (65 East Center Street, Hyde Park) with a viewing Tues, 3/21 from 6-8pm & Wed, 3/22 from 9:30-10:30, followed by his final send off at 11am.
