Dennis Wayne Banford

DENNIS WAYNE BANFORD,

father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend passed away on Sunday April 21, 2024.

Dennis was born On October 20, 1960, to Lyle Banford and Gayla Vogel Banford in Logan Utah. He was the oldest of five siblings where they were all raised in the beautiful Cache Valley.

Dennis attended Sky View High School, and from there he spent his later years between the Salt Lake and Cache Valleys.

Dennis's passion for chess was undeniable. He had a strategic mind and a love for the game, and his talent made a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of playing against him. Dennis also had a spirit of Adventure and always had a good story to go along with all

his adventures. In his younger years his love for classic cars began. He especially loved his 1965 Pontiac GTO.
Dennis leaves behind five children, Joseph (Amanda) Banford, Elva (Jon) Shepard, Joshua Banford, Misty (Tyrel) Allen, Kaden Banford, and seventeen grandkids. His Mother Gayla (Ron) Lemon, his siblings Danny Banford, Wendy (Kent) Parkinson, Kirk Kelsey, Russell Banford, and his best friend Robin Elliott.

Funeral services will be held Friday April 26, 2024, viewing will be at Cache Valley Mortuary from 9:30-10:30 AM, graveside services will directly follow at the Millville Cemetery.
