James Raymond Maughan

James Raymond Maughan passed away on October 16th 2022, in Hyde Park, Utah. Jim was born on April 25th 1961 to Wesley and LuDean Maughan.
Jim grew up in Logan Utah with his brother, Steve, and his sisters LuAnn, Kayleen, and Jana Lee. In 1979 he graduated from Logan High School and went on to attend Utah State University.
As a young man Jim loved the outdoors and anything with an engine. He bought his first boat when he was eighteen, and Bear Lake served as a second home for Jim to waterski and meet life-long friends.
Jim was blessed with two beautiful boys, Ryan Scott Maughan (22) and Ian James Maughan (18). He considered them to be his crowning achievements.
In 2001, Jim founded Monn Services & Design, and later Monn Cabinetry & Design.
He was preceded in death by his father. A celebration of his life will be at 2:30 on Saturday November 5th at Cache Valley Mortuary, at 2:00 his sons will be greeting visitors and friends.
