Jerry (Gerald Grant) Myers

Jerry Myers (Gerald Grant Myers), born to Ralph and Raeola Myers on Oct. 10, 1958, lost his battle with cancer May 6, 2015, in his birthplace of Logan, Utah.He is survived by one daughter, Dawn Myers; two grandsons, Cameron Myers and Christian Coleman; three Brothers, Mike Myers (Jodee), John Myers (Cherri) and Lynn Myers (Chris); one sister, Sandi Freeman (Dwayne); eight nieces and nephews; girlfriend, Kathy Burkey; and lifetime best friend, Ray Dominguez.Jerry was a simple man who liked simple things; he took everything at face value and never passed judgment. He had a giant heart and would give his last if somebody needed it, never asking for anything in return. He found value in all things and enjoyed tinkering and fixing things. He was one of a kind and his humor could get you smiling even in your darkest moments. He is in the Heavens now, but if you close your eyes you can still see him in his blue jeans and Raiders hat, walking like only he walked, with his head tilted and his right hand out to the side … He will never be forgotten.All are welcome at his Celebration of Life: 3 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 131 S. 400 West in Smithfield.
