Joyce Oneil Vinson

Joyce Vinson passed away peacefully on this day of May 3, 2023 at the age of 88
She was born in England on July 4th, 1934. Fostered by the family of Mr. and Mrs. William Webb at age three for all her childhood years.
She entered into the workforce as a baker at the age of 15. She started a culinary arts career in the military at the age of 18. Then into residential hotel kitchens after discharge from the military. She met and married her first husband Frank in 1958 and was blessed with her son Francis Lawrence in September 1959. Started her new life in U.S.A. in December 1959. She met and married her second husband, Lynn in 1965 and was blessed with her daughter Teresa Lyn in January 1973.
Joyce started her medical career in the Behavioral Health Unit at Logan Regional Hospital in 1982. She worked there for 23 years before retiring at the age of 70,
Some of her loves in life were her children, her grandchild, Tanner Kent, the wild birds that she fed, the gardens she grew, the books she read, her work with the patients, staff and doctors at the hospital, her lifelong friends and relationships, and her beloved pets.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 4:00 PM at the Richmond Cemetery.
