Kathy Freeman Crosby, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully in her sleep March 30, 2015. Kathy was born to Monte and Roma Freeman in Logan, Utah, on July 11, 1951. She married Glen Crosby in the Logan Utah LDS Temple on June 12, 1970. She raised four wonderful children and was raising a wonderful grandson.She is survived by her parents, three sisters, brother, her husband, Glen Crosby, of Newton, and her children; Melinda Crosby of Ogden, Casey Crosby of Newton, Nicole (Neal) Nelson of Cora, Wyoming, Ashley (Michael) Yancey of Logan, and grandson Marcus Crosby of Newton.Kathy enjoyed her family and going with Glen in the semi-truck, seeing this beautiful land. She also enjoyed being a wife and mother. She loved sharing her many talents, including sewing, knitting and crochet. Her talents blessed people with everything from stuffed animals to Cinderella wedding gowns. She loved the gospel and served in church callings, the most important of which, she felt, was being a loyal visiting teacher.She was loved and will be dearly missed by her family and her many friends.A viewing and funeral will be held in the Newton LDS chapel, 90 S. 100 West, Newton, Utah. The viewing will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 2. The funeral will be at noon Friday, April 3, with a viewing beginning at 11 a.m.
