Kenneth Kay Kramer

Kenneth Kay Kramer, a loving husband, Father, Grandfather, and friend passed away peacefully September 14, 2017, at Rocky Mountain Nursing Home and Rehab after suffering many years with Alzheimer's Disease. Kenneth was born, in Denver, Colorado on October 31, 1932, to Max: A Kramer and Gladys Rhodes Kramer. Ken lived in Colorado and California before moving to Cache Valley, Utah. Ken attended Wellsville Junior High and South Cache High School. Ken got a job at Royal Bakery driving the delivery truck. It was here where he met and worked with Joan Jones, who later became his wife. They were Married in Logan, Utah September 24, 1952. Their marriage was solemnized in the Logan Temple June, 15 1953. Together they have 3 children who they are very proud of Kevin, Jodie, and Dale. They also have 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren who have brought a lot of joy into their lives. Ken was drafted into the U.S. Army in June 1953 where he served two years, one of them being in South Korea, and then in California. He worked many jobs, until he became a reserve officer for the Logan City Police Department where he found his passion. He was hired by Logan City Police Department August 1970. He retired in 1994 as a Corporal after 24 years of service. He then focused on his business: Ken's Firewood. He is survived by his wife Joan, his 3 children, Kevin, Jodie, and Dale. His 8 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Harry Holloway, Robert, and Donald "Ike" Kramer. We would like to thank Rocky Mountain Rehab and Nursing HomelHospice for the love and care he received there. Graveside services will be Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 11 :00 a.m. at Logan City Cemetery. A viewing will be held Monday, September 18,2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Cache Valley Mortuary. 80 West 4200 North Hyde Park, Utah.
