Kevin Follett Packer

March 19, 1967 — July 25, 2024

On July 25, 2024, at the age of 57, Kevin Follett Packer passes away after a courageous battle with liver cancer.

Kevin was born in Logan, Utah, on March 19, 1967, to Lynn Bowen and Sandra Sue Follett
Packer. He grew up happily with friends and family in North Logan.

Kevin had a special love and soft heart for animals. Throughout his life he raised and cared for chickens, goats, dogs, rabbits, and ferrets. At one time he raised a skunk, a fox, a coyote and tried to raise a porcupine. Animals always gave Kevin the greatest joy.

Kevin enjoyed the scouting program and achieved his Eagle Scout. Kevin graduated from Sky View high school and then served an honorable mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Washington DC. He served the Laos people and had a deep love for the people he served. After his mission Kevin attended BATC and mastered his skills as a meat cutter. He worked most of his life in this profession.

Kevin married Jode Corbridge in the Logan Temple and they were blessed with three children, Heatherlee, Dillon, and Kennedy. Kevin’s greatest joy was his children and two granddaughters.

Kevin loved to travel and visited Thailand and the Philippines. He had a special love for the
people of the Philippines. Kevin received special care in the last months of his life by his loving son Dillon and sister, Kamie. The family thanks Rocky Mountain Hospice for their care and support.

Kevin is proceeded in death by his parents Lynn and Sue Packer, and brother Kelly Joe
Packer (surviving Mary Ann) and many beloved Aunts and Uncles. He is survived by his former wife Jode
Corbridge Packer, his children Heatherlee, Dillon and Kennedy and two granddaughters.
His Siblings Kraig Lynn Packer (Kate), Korey Orion Packer (Heidi), Konie Humphreys
(Craig) and Kamie Profaizer (Justin).

The family will have a private service later and express gratitude for all the love and kindness of family and friends.
