Laura LaRae Urie Layne, aged 70, passed away on November 11, 2024. She was born on April 20, 1954 in Challise, Id to Norine Read Urie Wilkinson and Nimrod Urie. Laura grew up in Franklin, ID with her mother and stepfather, LaMar Wilkinson.

Laura is survived by Farrell K. Layne (spouse), Sandy Layne Rich (David Rich), Brandon Layne (Elizabeth Layne) and Helen Layne Miller (Kenneth Miller), her grandchildren: Harley, Kelsey, Hayden, Jade (Nathan), Derek, Cody, Zion, Johnny, Kenlee (Albert), Journey, and Buxton, and one great grandchild Jordan. Predeceased by her son Cody. Laura enjoyed teaching at Beau La Reine College of Beauty. Laura loved to spray paint yard décor, plan games for family get togethers or parties, give of herself to those important to her and come up with random gifts that brought us smiles. Her number one priority in life was her family.

A viewing will be held on November 15, 2024 from 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 42 West 200 South, Hyde Park, UT 84318. Followed by the funeral service at 12:00 PM. Laura will be buried in the Lewiston Cemetery, 1000 E Center St. Lewiston, UT, 8320.
