Our sweet, funny, and sassy Melanie White Perry's earthly adventure came to an early end on July 19th, 2024, when she passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at her home.
Melanie's quest for fun & friends began August 3rd,1964. Her parents, Betty Lou (Nielson) White and Dr. R Wendell White raised her and her four siblings in Tremonton. Melanie often spent time with and helped her father at his dental practice. She looked up to him, noticing the impact he made on their community. That example played a part in Mel herself embodying so much love, kindness, and generosity in her everyday life.
Melanie spent everyday looking for the next adventure or challenge to be conquered. Whether working her tail off or playing hard, she was always on the go, making friends everywhere she went and always helping people along the way. You'd be hard pressed to find someone who would do more for the people she cared for, or even a total stranger. She was a rock to so many and always had a smile and snappy quip at the ready to brighten your day, or put you in your place, if needed. Her honest and feisty nature rarely left you guessing where you stood. She was bold & loved hard.
Melanie's love for interacting with people carried into her professional choices, like her time spent in grocery and meat management. She could be counted on like few others and always strived for improvement.
Mel's independent spirit found it's equal, and other half in Brian Perry, the love of her life and best friend. Their joint adventure spanned over 30 years together and was highlighted by their kids and grandkids, which Melanie loved fiercely. It was kismet that they found each other. They loved hard, strengthened, and supported each other at every turn. Friends, confidants, and partners in crime to the end.
Melanie was proceeded in death by her parents and older brother, Bryan F. White. She is survived by her husband, Brian Perry, her children, Marc Davis, Kaylab Brian White, Travis Perry (Jennifer), Ashley Perry (Tina), Mallory Davis (Isreal Moreno), Cassie Lewis (Kent), her twelve grandchildren, one great grandchild, and three siblings, David J. White, Jonathon N. White and Jennifer W. Hulce (Roger).
The family will be holding a private celebration of her life at a later date.
