On April 20, 2024 our sweet little Orange seed starter her mortal journey on this earth and returned to her Father in heaven shortly after. She is proceeded in this life by her father Carter, mother Taysie and big brother Riggin.
Millie came to earth for a very short time, but made a change in our lives for eternity. Our sweet baby girl was needed in heaven for something more precious and more important, we know God has a special plan for her. We feel so blessed to be parents of such an incredible beautiful daughter of God. We can’t even put into words how much we love our little Millie and are so proud of everything she has accomplished in this life. We are eternally grateful for this true and living gospel we have upon the earth. Life is not the same without those simple truths that come from the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through this experience we have loved the doctrine and revelations revealed to us through our loving Father in Heaven.
Prophet Joseph Smith said,
“Earth has no sorrow that heav’n cannot cure.”
“This world is a very wicked world. … The Lord takes many away, even in infancy, that they may escape the envy of man, and the sorrows and evils of this present world; they were too pure, too lovely, to live on earth; therefore, if rightly considered, instead of mourning we have reason to rejoice as they are delivered from evil, and we shall soon have them again.”
“Although nothing in this life can take away the feelings of loss a family experiences with the death of a child, we may find comfort in the doctrine that little children who die will be exalted. We know this because it has been revealed by our loving Father in Heaven and taught by His modern prophets and apostles.
These truths from latter-day revelation are some of the sweetest and most comforting truths of the gospel.”
We are eternally grateful for the truths that have been revealed to us. We strive to become more like our Heavenly Father just as our sweet Millie did, so we can enjoy the blessing of Heaven together for eternity.
