Neil Lewis Randall, 66, of Smithfield Utah passed away peacefully with his family by his side on September 22, 2017. Neil was born January 13, 1951 to Grant and Barbara Randall in Whittier, California. He served an LDS mission in the Brazil North Mission and returned to complete his studies at Brigham Young University. Neil’s passions included reading, cooking, fishing and a love of the outdoors that he inherited from his father and passed onto his children. His greatest joys were being involved in the lives of his children and grandchildren; he loved to share that with everyone. Neil is survived by his children: David & Melanie Randall, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Bryan & Candice Randall, Bear River City, Utah, Kevin & Camille Randall, Mendon, Utah, Brent & Amanda Randall, Smithfield, Utah, Katie Randall, Ogden, Utah and by his 14 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Gayle [Mike] Manning and Sharon [Jim] Morin. Neil was preceded in death by his father and mother and by his sister Marla [Forest] Fountain.Funeral Services are under the direction of Cache Valley Mortuary, 435-787-8514. Friends may call, Thursday, September 28, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Cache Valley Mortuary, 80 West 4200 North, Hyde Park, Utah or Friday morning from 10:30-11:30 prior to the funeral. Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday, September 29, at the Smithfield 24th Ward Chapel located at 451 South 250 East, Smithfield. Interment will follow at a later date in Whittier, California.
