Osmer Michael Baker

Osmer "Michael" Baker son of Osmer Nyal and Mryna Lou McCollum Baker returned to the loving arms of His Heavenly Father on September 15th 2014, due to injuries sustained from a vehicle accident. Mike was born February 21, 1953 in Mesa, Arizona. Mike loved spending time with his family, especially in the outdoors, on a lake or in the mountains skiing, he loved the beauty of nature and he loved his family. He was a devoted father and grandfather. He was extremely talented with wood work. He made his living doing what he loved, working with his hands to create beauty from a piece of wood. Michael was a friend to all, he had a big heart and would do anything for anyone that needed help. He will always hold a special place in the heart of his family and friends and will be greatly missed. Michael is survived by his wife, Kathy Baker of Talent, OR; children: Christopher and wife Jamila Baker, and Casey Baker of Medford, OR; his grandchildren: Bailey, Courtney, Alexis and Mason; his father, Osmer Nyal Baker; siblings: Karen Wiegman, David (Debbie) Baker, Timothy ( Lisa) Baker, Shirley (Douglas) Littlefield, Shonna (Bill) Russell; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his mother, Mryna Lou McCollum Baker. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday September 23, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Paradise 1st Ward LDS Chapel, 155 East 9400 South, Paradise Utah. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 – 10:30. Burial will be in the Mendon City Cemetery.
