Patricia Faye Salisbury

On Wednesday, May 30, 2018, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Patricia Faye Trotman Salisbury passed away in Logan, Utah at the age of 91 years. Pat was born in Logan Utah, on February 9, 1927 to Raymond A.C. and Vera Amanda Trotman. Her only sibling was an older brother, Ray, whom she admired and loved dearly.
As a young girl, she attended school in Cache Valley and graduated from Logan High School in 1945. Pat also attended Utah State University before marrying her high school sweetheart, Ramsden Bybee Salisbury, in the Logan temple on August 1, 1946. Pat and Bybee were blessed with four children: Nancy Claire, Patricia Louise, Martin Bybee and Ronald Boyd.
Pat worked for many years as a secretary for Adams Elementary and then at USU, where she retired in 1989. After her retirement, the couple served an LDS mission to Nauvoo, Illinois and later as service missionaries on Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Utah. Pat was gifted with a beautiful singing voice, which she used over the course of her life to bless and share her testimony with others in Nauvoo and all over Cache Valley.
Pat is survived by her husband, Bybee, daughter, Nancy Salisbury, son Marty (Idona) Salisbury, son Ron (Julie) Salisbury, 11 grandchildren and 34 great -grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Louise Cuthbert, grandson, Jeremy Salisbury, brother, Ray Trotman, and both of her parents.
A viewing will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 on Monday, June 4, 2018 at the LDS church located on 1255 N. 600 E. in Logan. Funeral services will follow at noon with Bishop Bruce Daniels presiding. Interment will be in the Logan Cemetery.
The family would like to thank all those who have been of service to Pat and the family during this time, especially those at the Logan Regional Emergency Center and Life Flight, McKay-Dee Hospital ICU and Comfort Care and Rocky Mountain Hospice.
