Obituary for Phillip Brian Drew
June 13, 1974 – September 2, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Phillip Brian Drew at the age of 50. A
beloved father, brother, uncle, and devoted partner & dog dad of two cherished pups, Phillip
touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Phil was a passionate sports enthusiast, proudly wearing his Denver Broncos gear on game
days and cheering for the Colorado Rockies and Denver Nuggets. He approached each season with unwavering loyalty and infectious enthusiasm, creating unforgettable moments with family and friends as they shared the thrill of victory and the sting of defeat.
An avid golfer, Phil enjoyed spending sun-soaked afternoons on the course, honing his swing
while indulging in friendly competitions. His love for the game was matched only by his love for cooking. Whether it was a backyard barbecue or a family dinner, Phil had a knack for crafting delicious meals that brought everyone together around the table.
A true music lover, Phil found joy in listening to a diverse array of genres, often filling the room with melodies that set the tone for celebrations or quiet moments alike. His eclectic taste in music mirrored his vibrant spirit—always ready to embrace new experiences and share them with those he loved.
Phil's humor and kindness touched the hearts of all who knew him; he had a unique ability to
connect with others and make everyone feel special. His laughter could light up a room, and his compassionate nature knew no bounds. As a father, brother, and uncle, he was a pillar of
strength and support for his family, sharing his wisdom and guidance through life’s challenges.
Phil is survived by his two loving children, his dear sister, and his nephew and nieces who
adored their uncle and cherished the moments spent together. Phil had many people he called family; a young woman he helped raise, friends he called his chosen family, parents who called him family the moment he came into their daughter’s life, and a long time girlfriend. He will forever hold a place in their hearts and anyone who crossed his path.
As we say goodbye to Phil, we invite you to remember him with smiles and laughter as he would have wanted. A celebration of his life will be held on September 15th, where we will share stories, honor his legacy, and pay tribute to a man who lived life to the fullest. Phil will be dearly missed but never forgotten. May he rest in peace, forever embraced by the
love he shared and the memories created.
