Rachel Masters, our beloved sister, mother, aunt, and daughter passed away on April 7th, 2023
at her home in Smithfield Utah.
She was born on May 10th, 1979 in Concord California, and grew up in Hyrum Utah with her
parents Vicki and Rich Jones, and sister Sabrina Masters.
Rachel had a fun time in school (Mountain Crest), mostly because she never went. She would
often be found in the parking lot or other places just having a great time. This is how she lived
her life. On her terms. Determined to have the best time possible.
She was stubborn and feisty from the get-go. She was born 3 weeks late (on her own timeline
of course) and never had a filter. What she said was what she was thinking at the time. When
we grew up, her feet were always moving faster than her body with many afternoons being
bandaged due to skinned knees and elbows. (She wasn’t graceful).
She fiercely loved her kids, Brady, Annalee, and the son she considered her own Ashton. This
was her greatest gift to all of us.
Rachel is survived by her children Annalee Gregory, Brady Rowley, Ashton Celaya, Vicki and
Rich Jones, Sabrina Masters and Shane Davis, Mallory Davis, and Richie Celaya.
Services will be at Cache Valley Mortuary located at 80 W 4200 N Hyde Park on Friday, April
14th. A viewing will be from 10:30-11:30 am with funeral services to follow at 12:00 pm. Anyone
with memories and fun stories are welcome to speak so we can remember the great times we
had with Rachel. We know there are many.
You will forever be missed. You are now free. Fly high sweetheart and know we love you to the
moon and back! Also……regulators….mount up!
