In loving memory of Raymond Vincent Spanier. Age 71 passed away March 28, 2025 in Logan

Utah. Born to Vincent Spanier & Phyllis Pendleton in Gary Indiana on December 9, 1953.

Survived by his children Sheree Myers & Brian Spanier. Grandchildren Tyler Spanier, Joshua

Wouters, Dustin Wouters, Aubrey, Trinity, Zachary & Great grandchildren McKinley,

Addison,Cyrus,Haisley & more to come. Raymond spent his early years in a Catholic

orphanage. He moved to Utah in his late 30's seeking spiritual fulfillment in the church of Jesus

Christ of Latter-day saints. He dedicated many years to deepening his understanding of Christ.

Forming meaningful connections within the church community. He was a devoted outdoors man.

And an active member of the mountain men club (old Ephraim). Where he embraced the

traditions of 1830's style camping. His connection to nature was central to his identity. He often

referred to the natural would as (Dame Nature) and believed that many of societies challenges

could be eased by reconnecting with the earth. Raymond loved exploring Utah's national Parks.

He found great joy in baseball as a loyal fan of the St Louis Cardinals. He will be loved & missed

by all who knew him.
