Robert Allen Michaelis

Robert Allen Michaelis passed away Thursday, August 4th after a brief stay in the Logan Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family and friends. Bob was born June 29, 1933 in Garland, Utah. Bob loved to golf, camp, fish in Alaska, go boating, waterski, play church basketball, and read. He met his beautiful wife, Sandra, in the spring of 1950 and married her in the Logan, Utah Temple September 26, 1952. They served an LDS mission at the Manila Temple in Philippines from '96 to '98. Bob and Sandra have five beautiful children: Robert (Kathy), Duane (Gay), Ranel (Noel Case), Darrin (Teanna), and Kate (Dale Nielsen), 21 grandchildren, and 35 great grandchildren with 2 on the way. Bob was preceded in death by his father, Alfred, his mother, Ida, his brother, Dale, and his sisters, Mabel, Faye, Vada Lee, and Pauline, and a great grandson Malachi Case. He will be greatly missed, but we all know he is busy golfing in heaven. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Robert Michaelis' name to the Utah Rare Foundation.
