Sandra Lyn Alley

Sandra Lyn Ellis Alley, 56, of North Logan, passed away Monday, April 4, 2016, at McKay-Dee Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was born April 14, 1959, to Janice Hardy and Robert Bennett Ellis. She graduated from Cyprus High School in 1977. She moved to Logan to attend Utah State and worked at Smith’s. She met and married Gordon Alley on Aug. 19, 1982. It was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. She was the mother of three children: two sons and one daughter, and five beautiful grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Gordon; Dustin (Jesica) Alley of Tremonton, Utah; Garrett Alley of North Logan; Lacy (TJ) Smith of Preston, Idaho; her grandchildren, Stetsen, Ryker, Ally Smith, Mya, Cierra Alley; her mother Janice Ellis, West Valley City; her brother Michael (Nadine) Ellis, Lehi ,Utah; one sister, Rebecca (Trent) Moyer of West Valley City. She was preceded in death by her father Robert Bennett Ellis, and her grandparents Marion Ellis and Harold and Virigina Hardy. A viewing will be held Friday, April 8, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Logan 15th Ward Chapel, address 1650 E. 2600 North, North Logan. Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Noon, in the same location with a viewing prior from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the North Logan Cemetery.
