Shauna Faye Goodwin Jones, 60, passed away on Oct 24, 2014 at Ogden Regional Medical Center after a long illness. She was born to Rex and Fare Winn Goodwin on Nov 4, 1953. She was raised in Cornish and Lewiston. She married Michael Jones on Jan. 23, 1978 in Lewiston. Later they were sealed in the Ogden Temple. They lived in several places and she enjoyed the friendship of family and the people she never had the chance to meet. We can never repay the friendship and the kindness of all of the people of the North Logan 3rd Ward. She loved crocheting and needle work and to make special afghans for special people. She is survived by her husband Mike, brothers Blake (Laurel) Goodwin, Mike (Emeline) Goodwin, brother -in-law Mark Martindale nephews, Travis Goodwin, Brett (Britney), Eric (Margaret) Martindale. Nieces Brita (Manny) Zizllmbo, Mydin Goodwin, Adrienne (Jill) Goodwin Henderson, Teresa (Tim) Gamble, Step daughter Mashelle Jones Novak, Grandchildren, Alexis and Austin and several grand nieces and nephews she loved and treasured. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, her father, by her sister Janis Martindale by a week, Aunt Sherily Nielsen, Uncle Floren (art) Winn, Nephew Troy Goodwin, and step-son Harris Jones. Graveside services will be held on Friday Oct 31, 2014 at the Lewiston City Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Services are under the direction of Cache Valley Mortuary, 3207 North Main, North Logan, UT. 435-787-8514 Condolences and memories may be shared with the family on at www.cvmortuary.com
