Shirley Anne Stoker Clegg Dennis

Shirley Anne Stoker Clegg Dennis, 73 the daughter of Wendall J. and Desma Michelle (Crawford) Stoker but was sealed to her mother and stepfather Joseph Clegg of South Jordan. Returned home to Heavenly Father where she met her mother, father and brother. Shirley’s life was centered around being a house wife and mother. She loved to cook and sew and taught all her children to do the same. She was a loving person and all who knew her loved her as well. She married David M. Dennis on April 29, 1955 and was later sealed on May 23 1962 in the Salt Lake Temple. She was a peacemaker of the family and was loved by the family for it. Shirley was a spiritual, humble and very soft spoken person and was a good example to everyone.Shirley is survived by her husband David of Newton and 19 children Dave Jr., Bill, Shirley, Tereasa, Tammy, Sandy, Tanya, Micheal “Jack”, Earl, Scott, Lyle “Chris” Gordon, Steven, Jeff, Neal, James, Charles, Randy, and Angela and their spouses, her grandchildren , and her great-grandchildren, with a total of 217 in the family. She has four brothers Jay, Dave Charles and Joe Clegg. A viewing will be on Friday June 13, 2014 at the LDS Church in Newton from 6-8 pm address 76 South 100 West . Funeral Service will be held on Saturday June 14, at 11:00 am with a viewing from 9:30 – 10:30 at the same location in Newton.
