Stephanie Kay Wilkinson

Stephanie Kay Porter Wilkinson passed away peacefully on February 11, 2023, in her Tremonton home. Steph was born on February 23, 1985 to John Patrick Porter and Monica Ann Jensen in Logan, Utah.
Steph was the second of four children. She and her family lived in Cache Valley, until she moved to Tremonton after marrying the love of her life.
Steph met her future companion Luke Wilkinson in 2005, when he swept her off her feet. They were married on June 15, 2007. Their untraditional wedding was one for the books, from the beautiful park venue to the blushing bride in her black wedding gown and her “log-themed” cake, to their one-year-old stud muffin as best man. The new family started their forever home in Tremonton, UT.
Steph loved being a stay-at-home mom, Caden was the light of her life. She adored him, and he adored her right back. Whenever Steph walked into Caden’s sight, he would instantly smile, that ear to ear, toothless grin that melted everyone’s heart. As Caden “Bug” grew, he became fond of motocross. It was a love/hate relationship for Steph. She enjoyed the races, but had a heart attack every time Caden hopped on that bike. You could find her there in the background pacing and covering her eyes as she peeked through her fingers, but she still was cheering him on and bragging to everyone: “That’s my boy!”
In Steph’s spare time, you could find her hunting, fishing, looking for rocks, collecting frog figurines, catching snakes, taking long drives or just simply being in her happy place… out in the country. It was so fun to listen to her talk about a new place she went and the adventures she experienced. It was true passion of hers and brought her so much happiness.
Steph shared a very unique bond with the family she married into. They took her in as if she was their own. That was always so important and special to her.
Stephanie was preceded in death by her mother Monica, her grandmothers Margaret Elizabeth Doyle (Nana) and Nellie Fay Henningson (Mama); grandfathers Frederick Michael Jensen and John Francis Porter.
Stephanie is survived by her husband Luke, son Caden, father John Porter, sisters Jennifer Rogers and Heather Hayes, brother Zachary Porter, mother-in-law CarolAnn Rhodes, father-in-laws Kenny Rhodes and Matt Wilkinson, brother-in-law Lance Wilkinson, sister-in-laws Heidi (Thomas) Gott and Aspen Rhodes, and ten nieces and nephews.
Steph only knew how to love one way, fiercely. Anyone who knew her could feel her love and kindness radiate. She was a force. She will be missed dearly.

A viewing will be held Friday, February 17, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Cache Valley Mortuary, 80 W 4200 N, Hyde Park, Utah 84318, services for Stephanie will immediately follow.
