Trever Lee Klien was born June 5, 2001 to Rick and Melodie Klien in Logan, Utah. He passed away Feb 12, 2020.
He was raised in Smithfield, Utah. He was always outdoors in camo and ready for an adventure. He loved fishing at Forrester Acre, hiking, biking and camping up Smithfield Canyon and chasing his friends and brothers around the yard in an airsoft war. He loved playing in snow forts and digging in his trench and ending a long day of play with a bonfire.
Trever loved WWll. He could go on for hours about tanks and planes. He was a talented artist and would draw with pencil to paper fascinating detailed pictures. He could build anything from Legos. His imagination and creativity knew no boundaries.
His biggest love in life was hunting. He loved elk; the stories of his life were written on a mountainside. His first animal noise was an elk bugle. He would watch hunting shows, draw pictures, and was even able to hunt them as he grew. His favorite hunting spot was by “the gate”, he was sure there would always be elk there. He was his dads right hand man and hunting buddy.
Trever Graduated from Sky View High School and Seminary in 2019. While in high school he was able to travel to Germany on an exchange for a few weeks. He was excited to visit historical WWll monuments. He made lifelong friendships and memories. His senior year he was FFA Vice President. He was able to travel to Nashville. He loved visiting places of history and hearing the stories. He enjoyed traveling and seeing what the world had to offer.
He is survived by his parents Rick and Melodie, his siblings, Breena, Cody, Brendan, Weston, his grandparents Loren and Karenann Wallace, Rick and Cindy Klien, great grandmother Eileen Ipson, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and extended family. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers Grant J. Ipson, Lee Klien, Jerry Johnson, his grandmother Marlene Johnson.
His infectious laugh and tender affection for his siblings will be missed. We love and miss you son. We will meet you at “the gate”.
