Vicky Marlena Porter, 66, of Amalga, passed away on February 5, 2018 at the Ogden Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of Michael Porter. They were married 49 years, but were together for 52 years.She was born in Coburg, Germany. She was the daughter of Eugene Steele and Erika Walker. Mom attended college for photography and painting. She worked at Assembly Resource and Yesco as an Electronic Technician and reworker.She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She enjoyed painting, woodworking, cookbook, gardening, sewing, motorcycle riding, her horses, and cooking. She will be remembered for her jokes, pranks, and love to try new recipes.She is survived by her husband, Michael Porter; her three children, Michael (Mitchelle) Mace, Jeremy Porter, Jennifer; her two brothers, Fred Leffer and Helmer Steele; and four grandchildren, Robert Jeffrey, Cheyenne burke, Tonya Slead, and Paige Porter; and three great-grandchildren, Brooke Jeffrey, Lucas Jeffrey, and Trenton Burke, her two cats, Buddy and Nephi.She was preceded by her parents, Eugene Steele and Erika Walker.Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, February 9, 2018 in the Amalga LDS Chapel, 6521 North 2400 West Amalga, Utah. There will be a private family viewing prior to services. Interment will be held at the Smithfield Cemetery, Smithfield.
