William 'Willy' Eddie Ballard passed away on August 24, 2023 inn Logan Utah. He was 88 years old. Willy (also known as Eddie to family members)was born on December31, 1934 to William Edward Ballard and Mary Aurelia Casaus in Clovis, NM. He married his high school sweetheart, Sally Dornado, July 12, 1953 in California. They were married until her passing in 1991.
Willy loved carpentry and worked for many years as a stagehand in the movie studios building sets and creating special effects. He learned to use a computer at the ripe old age of 75and with that knowledge, he was able to work on his family genealogy up until his passing. Genealogy had become his passion in his later years.
He is survived by his 5 children: Randy Ballard, Cheryl Mastrantonio, Lore Doranado, Shawn Ballard and Jeremy Ballard. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 22 Great1grandchildren
