William Gene Kennell

William Gene Kennell, passed away on July 24, 2024, at the age of 66 in Logan,Utah with his
son Julian by his side. He was born on March 4th, 1958 in Athens, Greece. Known for his
persistence, Bill’s presence was a force to be reckoned with and he never gave up on the
things he believed in.

A private military service was held on August 8, 2024, at Fort Logan National Cemetery in
Denver, Colorado, where Bill's ashes were laid to rest alongside his parents, Howard Kennell
and Soula Kennell.

Bill is survived by his son, Julian Eichelberger Kennell. He was predeceased by his father,
Howard Kennell, and his mother, Soula Kennell.

Bill earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Hospital Administration from Metropolitan
State University in Denver, Colorado. He proudly served his country as a warrant officer
helicopter pilot in the United States Army and was a disabled military veteran.

Professionally, Bill worked as a Risk Control Consultant for Marsh McLennan in Denver,
Colorado, where his knowledge and expertise were highly respected.

Outside of his career and service, Bill was a man of many passions. He loved the outdoors,
whether he was fishing, hunting, restoring classic Toyota Land Cruisers, dirt biking, or
camping with his family.

Bill will forever be remembered.

Today and forever he flies free.
